| hello all,
it has been a while, things to update in my life?? knee surgery in december went well, track was going good and then on my way to class i slipped and fell and tore my MCL on my "good knee". As a result i wasnt able to particapate in the Conference championships and now i have 2 bad knees. My mom bought me guitar hero for valentines day, she is cool and i love her, not just because she buuys me things but because she buys cool things at random times. I am going to China 3 weeks in may/ june and then i hope to return to camp if they will have me. What are everyone elses camp or no camp plans? i just spilled water on my keyboard and now the right shift doesnt work, sad day, that is the first problem i have had with my iMac, mad props to ben for talking me into it, i love it. Music and lyrics was a good movie i liked it alot, 300 is also good in a very different way, adam sandlers new movie comes out friday i am pumped. I lead a Spring service trip to Chicago we worked with a homeless shelter, it was cool. Oh yeah i decided to become a full time missionary, too. | | |
| So sorry about the once a month knee updates, but its teh only thing in my life worht telling you about. So i went to the doctor a week ago, this time an orthopedic surgeron, kinda like Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy, but more of a man and sexyier to me. But anywho, he "numb"ed me up, make you saw those quotes, and preceded to stick a needle the size of a pencil in my knee swirl it around and the when i winced he said sorry, But it didnt work so i got another cortazone shot, and now i GET to have surgery. It is on Wednesday the 13th so in like 5 days they will be cutting my knee open. Whopie!! So pray and stuff because i have a final on thursday and i am moving into another apt along with this surgery. | | |
| So my torn PCL turned into a slightly torn PCL plus a cyst. So yesterday i went in to get it looked at, well that "looking" at turned into a jabbing a needle into my knee looking at it through an ultra sound and filling the cyst with cortazone. ALL in ALL a pretty sweet experience, actually a pretty good day. We went to the nearby hockey team, teh muskies and watched them practice, we even got to run around on the ice, except for me , i just kinda stood there, remember i had a giant needle in my knee earlier that day, and then we had lunch at famous daves, i have never been there, i had the cajan chicken, i would recomend that. Well off to youth group, thats all the action happening in my life!! | | |
| Well its offical when you play DDR with a torn PCL you are going to regret it. I know this from personal experience. I was playing flag football the other day and dove for a girls flag but instead of getting her flags i landed on the front of my knee and got a torn posterior crucitate ligament,anit no thang, ill just strenghen my hamstrings and they will compensate but im out of intramurals for a wile, maybe ill come back for basketball season. Going home for the four day break which is pretty amazing, last time i was home was aug.9 and only for like 3 days after camp. OOOOOO i almost forgot the most important thing, i appplied and was accpeted to be a leader for a spring service project for my college, I'm going to Chicgao. | So its been awhile . . . I am currently awake and chillin, i believe i havent gotten anything accomplished since friday, wow. I had weekend duty at the student center, i love getting paid 180 dollars to make sure other people are working. I am planning an air band, alot of work, more than i thought. The next up and coming thing that i am excited for is HOMECOMING DODGEBALL, i think you all underestamate my love for dodgeing balls and throwing them at peoples faces. I do hope that my finger heals though, i was doing the dishes the other day(its my week in the apt) and they were all done and i went to drain the water as im turning the thingamagiger it jumps out and takes a bite of my index finger, it hurt real bad and would not stop bleeding for 3 hours, stiches could have happened, but i wasnt going to go to the hospital and tell them the drain sliced my finger in half. So i pretty much love, my mom, and our football team, and confusing guys ( one of those sarcastic) Other than that this is my life. | | |
